Tutorial to Upgrade Ubuntu 9.10 Linux to Ubuntu 10.04 Linux

Ubuntu ten.04 beta was released! And it's got new characteristics contain the newest GNOME desktop setting, new drivers and improved assist for NVDIA cards, built-in Twitter/Facebook integration, new themes and notifications, etc. You may set up it with your laptop. But if you've got put in the past edition of Ubuntu such as Ubuntu 9.ten, you don’t need to get rid of it, you are able to upgrade your Ubuntu 9.ten to Ubuntu 10.04 beta. Here would be the measures:

  1.  Navigate to Run command prompt by pressing Alt + F2
  2.  Kind “update-manager”
  3.  Now, update supervisor need to open up
  4.  It should say: “New distribution launch 10.04? is available”
  5.  Click upgrade and stick to the on-screen instruction.

So, now your Laptop is upgraded and you may use the new characteristics of Ubuntu ten.04.
